Alert Microsoft Exchange Server Integration
The Alert Software Scheduler is seemlessly integration with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007. When a work order, or project task is assigned to a resource the exchange server will generate a calendar appointment in Outlook for that resource. The employee can then either on line or off, enter time, notes, parts and expenses directly in the Outlook appointment. The appointment also supports electronic signature capture. This information is then pushed via Exchange Server back to the work details on the project or work order as well as the employee's timesheet automatically and without user intervention.
Outlook Add-In
Alert software has an Outlook ADD-In to the standard Outlook toolbar for employees to promote emails to new service calls in Alert. A user may also promote any email and attach it to an existing work order, support case, project or customer in the Alert database.
Employees may also update the Scheduler in Alert with non billable time entries to block part their schedule as well as update their timesheet with non service or project related work using the New Appointment add-in tot e Outlook Calendar.
